Math, Computer, and Religion Teacher: 2008-2013

St. John the Evangelist School, Hydes, MD

• Taught PreAlgebra and Algebra to an advanced group of middle school students in order to prepare them to enter Algebra 2 in high school

• Taught Old Testament religion from a Catholic perspective to 6th graders

• Taught computer classes to Kindergarten through 8th graders with topics including:

  Microsoft Office programs, typing skills, internet research and safety, and web-based

  programs useful in education

• Participated in school and Church functions such as coaching the girls’ basketball team,

  serving as a Eucharistic Minister, coordinating the school’s newspaper club and helping to coordinate the Social Action Club

• Tutored students throughout my career as both a teacher and a graduate student
